The best goat husbandry manual I know is;

This is a fantastic, practical resource to have on your shelf. Please contact Lorraine via email to access a copy; [email protected]
Hoof Trimming Shears
The best shears I know are from www.arborgreen.com.au (this is actually a horticultural place). ARS Hoof Trimming Shear code AR140LDX. The shears cost about $80.00 plus postage- from South Australia.
Property Identification Code.
If you own a property and run livestock (including pet goats) in Australia you must have a PIC (Property Identification Code). There is no cost involved in this and the application form can be found here;
https://pras.biosecurity.tas.gov.au/pras/ui
When you buy goats, the person you purchase from should provide you with a vendor declaration form. Your PIC will be needed for this paperwork.

Worm egg counts;
There are many places you can get a worm egg count done for your goats, however our local Government Laboratory in Tasmania is;
